Summer - and we are ready for it!
It just keeps getting better - we LOVE this season!
Key items are layering - if the word makes you cringe, don't worry! You can start with a long camisole, and add a shorter jacket, and we can show you how. Jersey knit in pants and jackets, soft and easy to wear - feminine, floaty chiffons and skirts that swirl and move - textures and clever use of colours - it's a season to celebrate.
Colour - our signature tune! Bright citrus yellow, fantastic teamed with black - (surprise! it's still a major player) - gorgeous orange, turquoise and all the shades of green. Red, either alone or making a stunning statement with black and white. Speaking of black and white - this is one of the best looks this season - black pants with big white buttons, striped jackets, inset tops - you can never go wrong with this classic.
Jersey knits - Once you have worn jersey pants, it's hard to wear anything else - they are addictive! Cool, and very flattering - we have a variety of shapes and lengths. The longer, fuller version of this pant is a popular choice for weddings, for those of us who just don't like skirts. A best seller are our jersey knit jackets - long and lean, shorter and shaped - ask the staff about these - we all have them, and we all love them.
Skirts - we all hanker after one for summer, for the hottest days. This season shows skirts in some wonderful combinations of colours, some with inserts of different fabrics, some with assymetrical hems. Vibrant, glorious colours in all manner of styles feature all the fashion colours.
Camisoles - worn under a jacket or in their own right - these are the big fashion news this season! We've been asking, and here they are - LONG CAMISOLES! Some are crushed, some have funky detail, some are fantastic prints - they are gorgeous, and they can be mixed and matched to change your look completely. We're not suggesting that the majority of you will wear them sleeveless ...... you can choose a tulle jacket, either short and edgy, or a chiffon overlay dress - the options are endless.
Knitwear - we all need it for those cool evenings. White is classic, and always looks fantastic, especially against tanned skin. Bright pinks and fuschias in 100% cotton - hoodies with 80% bamboo content - great to wear. Black and white stripes are eye-catching, and yellow makes a real statement.
Long and funky - our summer specialty is a rayon collection in dresses, jackets and tops - purples and reds, greens and golds teamed with black in garments which are long, loose, cool and stand out from the crowd. Long sarong tops in colours of the rainbow - oversized shirts, calf-length jackets - it's funky, it's fun, and it's for you if you want to make a statement of your own.
